This past week I celebrated my 32nd birthday ~ and my 7th year of being Gluten-Free!
Since I've been doing the grain-free / Paleo thing, we decided to make a pie using the XO Baking Co. Sugar Cookie Mix for the crust. It turned out fabulously delicious! (It probably a little too much sugar to be considered "Paleo" - but it was my b-day, so let me live a little!)
I LOVE our local grown strawberries this time of year.
And since my pie was too pretty to put candles in, we decided to light some glutenous hot dog buns on fire instead! (Take that gluten!) I hope my three wishes come true! ;) I have a feeling they will...
Later in the week I celebrated with four of my best friends at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse. They are full of GF options- and if you're going Paleo like me, you can enjoy some chicken and veggies, a fresh salad, or one of their giant baked potatoes with plenty of bacon!
Cheers to another year of being Gluten-Free! Let's make it a good one for all of us... :)
