Food as Medicine

I'm a little under the weather today.....and I blame it on the fact that a lot of my students have been showing up to lessons sick and coughing all over me.... :/. Since I've never been a fan of drugs - (unless they are absolutely necessary) I try to remember this quote to help me get back on my feet:


So what makes the best medicine? 
1- Anything green 
2- Lean Protein (especially Bone Broth Protein Powder!)
3- Pink Sea Salt
4- Foods rich in Vitamins A, C, and E
5- Healthy Fats (avacado, olive oil, coconut oil)

So today I ate a banana, drank a protein shake made with Dr. Osbourne's Ultra Protein and blueberries. The powder is full of amino acids that help your body repair & rebuild. I ate a green pepper, drank some chlorophyll, and have been drinking a ton of water mixed with Vitamin C crystals.  I already feel like I'm "on the mend..." and expect to be better in no time.
