This cake was made with the King Arthur Chocolate Cake Mix. Just bake as directed in a 9x13 inch pan. Slice in half, and each piece in half again. Frost each layer and stack. My mom's famous frosting recipe is below :) Enjoy!Chocolate Frosting:
1 cup Butter
1/2 cup pure cocoa, more or less
whole milk or heavy whipping cream
Soften one cup of butter but do NOT melt it!
Blend in powdered sugar and milk or cream.Blend in vanilla and salt "to taste".Beat the ingredients on low speed until powdered sugar is no longer flying around your kitchen. You may want to add more cocoa for more chocolate flavor and appearance.
